The rates of infection for Covid 19 have increased significantly over the last few weeks. The rates in Rutland recently increased to over 300 per 100,000 population, and we are closely surrounded by areas with even higher infection rates. There is therefore no room for complacency and we must all strictly follow the national guidance to stay safe, protect the NHS and save lives.

This week the Seaton Parish Council completed Phase One of its 2020 plan to improve the Playing Field equipment. This has involved repainting all the equipment, new rigging and new roofs on the Uniplay Climber, and the installation of deep recycled rubber Tigermulch to ensure that Seaton children can play safely for years to come.

Rutland County Council and Uppingham Surgery have asked all villagers who have to collect prescriptions to do so using the Seaton Prescription Collection Service.
Doing this will help the Pharmacy plan and manage its workload; it will reduce the number of journeys and human contacts required; and, it will help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
