As you may be aware, the Govt has prohibited traditional Carol Services this year to reduce the risk of spreading Covid.
So, instead of the usual communal singing, All Hallows Church in Seaton has organised an evening of Christmas Music and Readings, including beautiful solo performances by Louise Cook and Megan Thompson-O'Connor.

The World may have been closed temporarily because of the global Coronavirus (Covid 19) during the first half of 2020, but Seaton Parish Council was determined to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe at the end of the Second World War.

The public meeting of the Seaton Village Hall has been postponed due to Covid 19 prohibition of large public meetings. it is hoped that the meeting will be held in the autumn.
However, the Annual Report and accounts will be produced and placed on the Village Hall notice board on or around 13 May 2020 in the normal way.

Ralph Offer and his team have been forced to close the George and Dragon, including their take away service so that the staff can take leave of absence under the Govt's furlough scheme.
We will miss them, but look forward to seeing them very soon on the other side of Covid-19.

Each year Seaton raises funds for a number of local and national good causes. During recent months, the village has raised:
The Seaton Bazaar on 2 Nov 2019 raised £1,053 for church funds. Thanks to the many that helped.
Nic Greenfield's sale of DVDs raised a further £50 which was donated to the Seaton Parish Council fund for improvements to the play area and its equipment. Grant applications... Read More »

The Church Carol Service in Seaton will take place at 7.00pm on Wednesday 18 Dec 2019.
Everyone is welcome, so please come along to start Christmas with some very well known carols and familiar readings, followed by mince pies and mulled wine. Its a great way to get in the mood for Christmas.
And, bring a torch as it will be dark!!
