Latest Update on Covid 19 Vaccinations in Rutland dated 14 Jan 2021

Although vaccine delivery remains erratic and unpredictable, Rutland Health Primary Care Network is making good progress on the first stages of the Rutland COVID Vaccination Programme which started on December 21st 2020.

All the residents of the 11 care homes looked after by Rutland Health PCN practices have now received their first doses of the COVID Vaccination. Many care home staff have also been vaccinated, and the remainder will be offered vaccination next week. Most of the care home staff have also received or been offered their first vaccination.

In addition, Rutland Health has also administered the first vaccination to just over two thirds of its patients who are aged over 80, and some of the frontline health and care staff who have contact with multiple older adults.

Full details of their progress and next steps are set out in the Rutland Health website which you can access using the weblink below. However, their key message at the moment is please do not contact your practice.

If you are aged over 80 and have not yet received a call you will be contacted within the next 2 weeks. If you miss a call they will contact you again. Where necessary, they will also use other ways of contacting patients to complete the priority 1 and 2 cohorts.
