The Charles Tryon Charitable Trust invites Applications for Small Grants

The Charles Tryon Trust Charity:

In the early 18th century a legacy was bequeathed by Charles Tryon for the benefit of the residents of Seaton and Thorpe by Water.

Residents, who may be in need of assistance, may therefore apply to the trustees for a grant. Alternatively, if a resident of the parish is known by someone to be in difficulty, then that friend may make an approach to the trustees on behalf of the resident.

In addition, all students embarking on a full-time course of further education are entitled to a grant.

Applications may be submitted at any time, but are particularly encouraged for consideration at the annual trustees' meeting which takes place in November each year.

The next meeting of the Trust will be held on Wednesday 18 Nov 2020.

Anyone wishing to apply may contact the Chair of the Trust, The Reverend Canon Jane Baxter on 01572 822717. All requests will be treated in strict confidence.
