Table Tennis - Seaton Village Hall on Thursday Evenings

Jeremy Lang leads a small group of Table Tennis enthusiasts in a game of fun each Thursday evening in the Seaton village Hall - a great way to get some light exercise.

Children (accompanied please) are welcome to play from 18.30 and Adults play from 19.00.

Seaton Continues to Support Good Causes......

Seaton has a long history of raising funds for good causes within the village and further afield.

We are therefore delighted to note that the excellent presentation by Alan Wordie about the Endurance Expedition to the Antarctic raised £715 for All Hallows Church.

Allotment News

As you may be aware, Seaton Parish Council (SPC) provides a small number of allotments at the southern end of the Play Area off Thompsons Road, just behind the George and Dragon Car Park.

The SPC decided at its meeting on 21 Jan 2019 that the annual rentals for 2019/20 should be held at the same price as in 2018/19 as follows: small allotment £15, medium £25 and large £35.

Fertile and Attractive Allotment Seeks New Owner!!!

As you may know, Seaton Parish Council provides a small number of allotments for local residents. The allotments are situated in an area at the southern end of the playing area, off Thompson's Field.

The allotment on offer is one of the smaller ones and therefore great value at an annual rent of £15 per annum. More importantly, it was previously managed by Jeremy Lang and was very well maintained.... Read More »

Over 1000 beacons were lit across the UK at 7.00 pm on 11 November 2018 to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Villages of Seaton, Thorpe by Water and Bisbrooke gathered at the top of the Glaston Road to watch Gerald Clarke, one of the elders of the village, light our new beacon which was a huge basket on top of a 4 metre telegraph pole.
