Seaton help for elderly or vulnerable residents during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

With thanks to Helen Coop, Karyn Slatter, Katherine Sale and Babs Gregory, arrangements are now in place to provide neighbourhood support for those who need it during the pandemic.

This includes help shopping, collecting prescriptions, dog walking, getting feed for your animals, or simply keeping in touch to make sure that we are all well.

The George and Dragon Launches Take Away Menu to support villagers during Covid-19

Ralph Offer and his team may have been forced to close the George and Dragon to help slow the spread of Covid-19, but they are determined to help Seatonians cope during what is bound to be a difficult time for us all, especially those who are alone or vulnerable.

The pub has therefore launched a takeaway menu so residents can order a meal and wine. The initial menu is attached.

Seaton raises funds for good causes locally

Each year Seaton raises funds for a number of local and national good causes. During recent months, the village has raised:

The Seaton Bazaar on 2 Nov 2019 raised £1,053 for church funds. Thanks to the many that helped.

Nic Greenfield's sale of DVDs raised a further £50 which was donated to the Seaton Parish Council fund for improvements to the play area and its equipment. Grant applications... Read More »

Analysis of the Questionnaire into the Proposed Refurbishment of the Seaton Play Area now available.

An analysis of the Questionnaire into the Proposed Refurbishment of the Seaton Play Area which was distributed to all houses in Seaton in Nov 2019 is attached. The paper was considered at the SPC meeting on 8 Jan 2020. Priorities were noted, but no decisions could be made until the outcome of bids for funding from RCC and the Augean Community Fund were received, probably by the end of Feb 2020.

Church Carol Service

The Church Carol Service in Seaton will take place at 7.00pm on Wednesday 18 Dec 2019.

Everyone is welcome, so please come along to start Christmas with some very well known carols and familiar readings, followed by mince pies and mulled wine. Its a great way to get in the mood for Christmas.

And, bring a torch as it will be dark!!
