North Luffenham Recycling Centre to Open on 19 May 2020 - Please Note Special Covid Arrangements

Rutland County Council is preparing to reopen North Luffenham Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC) on Tuesday 19 May 2020.

The UK government has changed its guidance on the closure of recycling centres. These sites can now reopen only for bulk waste that cannot be stored safely at home or disposed of through other legitimate routes.

Seaton Village Hall Meeting postponed due to Covid 19

The public meeting of the Seaton Village Hall has been postponed due to Covid 19 prohibition of large public meetings. it is hoped that the meeting will be held in the autumn.

Rutland County Council has launched a dedicated crisis helpline for anyone in Rutland who has been impacted by COVID-19 and has no one to support them.

The helpline is available to anyone who is following the government's 'shielding' guidance and has concerns about:

Access to food
Access to medicine
Feeling isolated and needing support

Uppingham Surgery ask us ALL to use the Seaton Prescription Collection Service

Rutland County Council and Uppingham Surgery have asked all villagers who have to collect prescriptions to do so using the Seaton Prescription Collection Service.

Doing this will help the Pharmacy plan and manage its workload; it will reduce the number of journeys and human contacts required; and, it will help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
